1. Appointment Cancellations
Full Refund (100%)
Cancellations made 24 hours or more before the scheduled appointment
Partial Refund (50%)
Cancellations made between 12-24 hours before the scheduled appointment
No Refund (0%)
Cancellations made less than 12 hours before the scheduled appointment or no-shows
2. Doctor-Initiated Cancellations
If a doctor cancels an appointment for any reason:
- Patients receive a full refund (100%)
- Refund is processed within 5-7 business days
- Patients are notified immediately and offered alternative appointment slots
3. Emergency Exceptions
Full refunds may be granted for cancellations due to:
- Medical emergencies (documentation required)
- Natural disasters or extreme weather conditions
- Government-imposed restrictions or lockdowns
- Death in the immediate family
Emergency exception requests must be submitted within 48 hours with supporting documentation.
4. Refund Processing Time
- eSewa/Khalti:3-5 business days
- Credit/Debit Card:5-7 business days
- Bank Transfer:7-10 business days
5. Subscription Refunds
- Monthly subscriptions: Refundable within 7 days of purchase if no services have been used
- Annual subscriptions: Pro-rated refund available within 30 days of purchase
- No refunds after the specified periods or if services have been utilized
6. Lab Tests & Health Packages
- Full refund if cancelled before sample collection
- No refund after sample has been collected
- Rescheduling allowed once without charges
7. Medicine Orders
- Full refund if cancelled before dispatch
- Return and refund available for damaged or wrong items within 48 hours of delivery
- No refund for opened medicine packages (health and safety regulations)
8. How to Request a Refund
- Log in to your RamroDoctor account
- Go to "My Appointments" or "My Orders"
- Select the booking you want to cancel
- Click "Request Cancellation/Refund"
- Provide reason for cancellation
- Submit request
